Include all trades in pre-construction meeting

Sequencing of trades and tasks on a commercial construction project is vitally important to the smooth operation and completion of a project. A first, and vital step, in the sequencing process is the pre-installation conference.

Trades that work on, are adjacent to, or above the waterproofing should participate in the meeting. This step will ensure that the waterproofing is protected and the work between all trades is properly sequenced resulting in continuous waterproofing.

Once the waterproofing membrane is covered, reasonable and cost-effective resolutions are not an option to correct discontinuous waterproofing conditions. You only get one chance to get it right!

CCW waterproofing experts discuss ways to ensure the success of your next waterproofing project. Go here to read the white paper.
